My friend Paprika Leaverton is a magician, juggler and award-winning documentary filmmaker. "The Queen's Influence" is her movie about the culture of women jugglers on the island of Tonga. On Tonga, juggling has been a craft practiced exclusively by women, and it continues to this day.
I'll be Amazon watch party this Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 7pm PT. We'll all watch the film together in the Watch Party virtual space, and everyone can chat with Paprika about the film.
